NHSRC Recruitment 2021
NHSRC Recruitment 2021 National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) has been set up under the National Health Mission (NHM) as an autonomous registered society, to channelize technical assistance and capacity building support to the states for strengthening the public health system. NHSRC intends to engage Consultants for different programmes purely on a contractual basis. Interested candidates may go through the details given below.
I. Consultant – Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals, NHSRC
Qualification & Experience:
i) Essential:
• Medical/Dental/Health Science/ Political Science Graduate with Post Graduate qualification in Community Medicine/Public Health/Health Systems Research/Epidemiology / Health Policy & Planning.
• Have at least 01 year of post-qualification experience; Experience of working in the public health system and research would be highly desirable
• Understanding of public health issues in India and role of various stakeholders
• Willingness to travel to states & districts to review interventions and status of programmes & ability to work on different assignments simultaneously and beyond office hours to meet the timelines for assignments.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point. Ability to use internet for desk research, literature review and accessing other relevant documents.
• Trained in Statistics and use of Statistics Software like SPSS & STATA
• Essentially a team player with ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team along with good interpersonal abilities,
• Good communication skills in English – both written and oral, presentation skills, ability to write analytical reports are all essential.
• Ability to carry out the given task on his/her own or with minimal supervision
• Competency and experience in working on multi-disciplinary field at program/policy level, monitoring and evaluation, data analysis.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities
ii) Desirable:
• Experience in Public Health Programme at National/ State Level.
• Related experience in health systems, data analysis and situation analysis.
• Published work in the area of health systems or public health.
• Experience of working with International agencies, Local bodies would be an added advantage.
Age Limit: Up to 45 Years (as on the date of receiving the application)
Work Location: The position is New Delhi based with possible travel to different states and districts
Remuneration Range: Between Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 1,20,000/-

II. Short Term Consultant – Tribal Health Cell, NHSRC
Qualification & Experience:
i) Essential:
• Medical/Dental/Health Science/ Political Science Graduate with Post Graduate qualification in Community Medicine/Public Health/Health Systems Research/Epidemiology / Health Policy & Planning.
• Have at least 01 year of post-qualification experience in implementation of health programmes, understanding of tribal and rural health issues.
• Experience in documentation, data analysis, report writing and presentation.
• Coordination skills to work with States and various divisions within the ministry of health and family welfare.
• Excellent analytical skills, communication and presentation skills, and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Good knowledge and experience of IT applications.
ii) Desirable:
• Working knowledge of Hindi / other major regional language
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Demonstrated experience in working with Government and coordination with NGOs led health programmes in tribal areas, Primary Health Care / State level public health programmes / Policy Formulation.
